7DRL 2022 Day 6: Playable

This is my entry to the 7DRL 2022 challenge.

A long time ago, an adventurer delved the deepest, darkest dungeon and ripped the Amulet of Yendor from the neck of a poor, defenseless wizard. Now the amulet just wants to go home again. You play the Amulet -- after the intro, anyone that possesses the Amulet is possessed by you.

By Tossing the Amulet between NPCs, you can possess them for a moment, throw their stuff back to the protagonist (who, since you are no longer controlling them, will be trying to kill you), then throw yourself back and get to the killing.

25 thrilling levels. I, personally, have never lived past the first half dozen, but I know there's someone brave enough and skillful enough to bring the Amulet back to the wizard.
